Energy-saving technology of fine grinding hard materials radically increase the extremely low efficiency of ball-tube mills as the main equipment of large- and small scale dispersion due to a number of operational advantages: the possibility of a single high-performance, reliable operation, ease of use, ability to maintain functionality with significant wear, versatility and economy. The technology is based on the concept of selective grinding energy as physical basis of a rational process that involves selective in shape and size supply of energy to grind the material to minimize the energy consumption of destruction. The value and distribution of stress in the bulk crushedmaterial particles optimally combined with strain rate and duration of loading. The technology is realized through multistage of grinding process on the basis of the effects and phenomena’s of mills intrachamber filling behavior as disintegration factorintensification: averaging rheological properties of granular medium in a rotating chamber, pulsating type self-oscillations and origin of the two extreme speed dynamic states of filling. Stages of the process for previous rough, intermediate and final fine grinding is done by organizing rational modes of filling mode of motion variations in how management actions in crushing process, the values of parameters: rotationalspeed, degree of chamber filling, degree of crushed material particles filling in gaps between the crushing bodies,crushing body relative average size,crushing body shape and chamber surface frictional properties.

- increase the productivity of the process in the first rough grinding stage, meal by 30...60 %;
- reduce specific energy consumption for grinding in the final fine grinding stage, meal by 20...50 %;
- reduce the cost of electricity consumption to drive large-mills, meal by 2...10 UAH per 1 ton of crushedmaterial;
- increase the efficiency of grinding in mills with traditional design solutions – without additional internal chamber energy exchange devices that have low reliability because of the rapid deterioration due to high filling abrasiveness.

In the first stage previous roughgrinding provided mainly by large pulses striking effect on the working of the crushed material particles that contributes to the limit of elastic deformation of the material in an array of large particles. In addition, the first stage pulsating type oscillations self-excite in high-speed chamber rotation, activates filling circulation. In the final fine grinding stage provided mostly by erasing and crushing effect of small pulses of job that contributes to plastic deformation at the surface of small crushed materialparticles. In addition, in the therefinal stage under extreme dynamic state of sliding layer ofgranular filling in the slow rotation of the chamber, activates crushing fillingslide circulation.
The range of ball-tube mills chambers diameters – 0.05...12 m.
Frequency of rotation of the drum–2.5...150 r/min.
Performance of ball-tube mills– 10-4…200t/h.
Grinding fineness (residue on sieve number 008) – 5…20 %.
